Jeremy Peter Green is a New York City-based attorney licensed in New York and Washington, D.C. who primarily works for entrepreneurs, startups, and mid-sized businesses. Green earned his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law on a full tuition scholarship.
Green has been profiled on USA Today, CNBC, NPR’s Morning Edition, CNN Money, MSNBC, the New York Daily News, HLN, CNN Politics, DCist, Vox.com, CNET, Mic.com, NBC News, WIRED, Refinery29, The Hill, and several other news sources. Green handled 356 federal trademark applications in 2017, making him the 36th most prolific trademark attorney in the United States.
Green formerly served as outside General Counsel for Lesbians Who Tech and in-house General Counsel and Webmaster for Teamsters Local 922. Green also served as a member of the For-Hire Vehicle Accessibility Advisory Committee, the group officially responsible for making policy recommendations for wheelchair accessibility in Washington, DC’s taxi and rideshare industries. Green hopes to help create a cooperative-style driver-owned rideshare application capable of competing with Uber and Lyft in the near future.
